Stone Crusher returned from Florida after a great weekend in Ocala for the 10th annual Monsters on the Beach in Virginia Beach. The truck was set on kill for the hometown event and Steve Sims was ready to put the truck through a long five show weekend. Friday night would be the first of five shows and Stone Crusher started off with a close first round exit against Randy Brown and Grave Digger but Sims would open up freestyle with several great launches over the cars with huge air setting the bar high for the other drivers. Saturday afternoon started off with Sims setting the pace early qualifying first over a great field of eight trucks. Sims would work his way through the brackets to

the finals where he faced off with Chad Tingler in Blue Thunder. It would be a close race but Sims and the Stone Crusher would take the win. Sims then started into a donut to celebrate the victory but the Stone Crusher would hook a rut and go up on the sidewalls and rolled over. The truck suffered minor body damage but would be good to go in freestyle where Sims would once again raise the bar with several gigantic launches off of the cars before the left rear tire would come off of the bead to end a spectacular run. Sims would continue with his strong consistent ways finishing strong in racing and putting on another stellar performance for the Saturday night show. Sunday would see two more great events with more of the same results from the previous shows in racing and freestyle. Overall the weekend was a great showing for the team. The next event for Stone Crusher and Mopar Magic will be June 8-9 at Virginia Motor Speedway in Jamaica, Virginia and looks to be one of the best summer events of the year so be sure to get there and catch all the great action!
