Hagerstown Speedway
July 13-15

Shows: Friday 8 P.M. Saturday 8 P.M Sunday 2:30 PM

Stone Crusher and Mopar Magic made their first trip to the Hagerstown Speedway and it would turn out to be a great weekend for the team. Friday night kicked off the weekends events in front of a packed house. Steve Sims and Stone Crusher were set on kill and it showed as Sims flew Stone Crusher to a finals win. In freestyle both Mopar Magic and Stone Crusher performed great with their usual action packed runs. Saturday continued the strong racing performance from the team but this night would see the tables turn as Gary Wiggins would take the win over Stone Crusher in the finals. Freestyle was once again a high flying spectacle as Sims put the big grey Ford into

orbit after launching over one of the infield stacks. Sunday would be the third and final competition of the weekend in Hagerstown closing out a great weekend of racing. Sims kicked things off early with a tailgate standing sky wheelie that would finish high in the scoring of the wheelie contest. In racing both trucks earned trips to the semi-final round but were defeated in both races. In freestyle all bets were off and there was no holding back. Wiggins put Mopar Magic through a great run packed full of big air, sky wheelies and text book slap wheelies that lasted well over the judged time. After seeing the run put on by Wiggins it was time for Stone Crusher to take to the track for freestyle. Sims pushed Stone Crusher too the limit getting some of the biggest air all weekend and pulling off great slap wheelies. It was a great way to close out the weekend with an excellent run in front of a huge crowd. The next stop on the schedule for Stone Crusher and Mopar Magic is in Mobile, Alabama for a two show weekend July 27-28 at the Mobile Civic Center..
