STONE CRUSHER WRAPS UP A WILD WEEKEND IN HAGERSTOWN!
The weather was hot but the action on the track was even hotter in Hagerstown this weekend with yesterday's show closing out the weekend for the Stone Crusher. After a strong showing in both the Friday and Saturday night events driver Steve Sims wanted to end the weekend with a bang however the bang he got wasn't quite what he was looking for. An early exit in racing sidelined the hard charging Sims until freestyle where he cut loose laying down a great freestyle carrying high speeds and getting some huge leaps over the jumps before an unexpected bad bounce after jumping a gigantic car stack put the Stone Crusher on it's lid. Sims was ok and the truck suffered minor damage but will be back to compete next weekend in Stafford Springs, CT for three events at the Stafford Motor Speedway.
